Wyman Park Drive, after it crosses Sisson Street by Stieff Silver and goes toward the Jones Falls Trail and Druid Hill Park is being resurfaced right now. While it will be awesome when it’s finished, you might want to find another way home tonight. Sorry for the lack of pictures.

DOT is helping out BCRP by resurfacing many of the roads thru Druid Hill

The area near Stieff Silver has been rough for at least several days, right? But it’s not any worse than Lanvale (the Bolton Hill section) was when they were redoing that. Ridable, if you have commuter-style tires, no?
BTW, I did a Hampden-to-Towson ride last week, and just noticed that they put speed bumps on Dumbarton and Heathfield…the speed bumps have bricks along the tops.
Funky.

I’m stoked to see so much great work getting down, and so early in the season. The City’s been repairing the sidewalks on both sides of my building this week, which is majorly awesome.
Maybe they’ll come and put the big arrow at Roland/University soon, since it’s kind of a free-for-all there (not that arrows will stop a lot of the jerks, honestly)?

Johnny, some time ago, I think you or Nate mentioned bike lanes would soon be implemented on Charles and or somewhere in Bolton Hill. Anything new on that?
FWIW, I don’t think we need bike lanes in Bolton Hill. Just saying.

Not sure about that. Nate?
(Charles would be nice. They’re resurfacing in front of UB right now.)

yes, bike lanes on Charles as part of the next streetscape from like 25th to University (maybe 1 or 2 years off)
Bolton Hill – bike route signing on Park Ave/Whitelock from Howard to Druid Hill. No pavement markings since Park’s relatively quiet.
Here’s a question – Madison Ave has some nice bike boulevard treatments between North and Dolphin. Anyone ride them? (maybe this should be a new topic)
