Who’s up for a short (10-20 miles) ride Sunday morning? At least Dan and I are meeting at the Watertower a little before 10:00am, to roll out at maybe at 10:00am sharp. Bring a Thermos of your favorite morning beverage, or — knowing us — we’ll stop somewhere for coffee/tea/juice anyway!
[I know: "wake-up" ride at that time? I'm working on my late-sleeping habits.]

That sounds like it might be fun… If the terrain isn’t too mountainous. Perhaps I will pedal my lethargic keister up to the tower.

I think anything TOO mountainous, and I would stay home with coffee and good book myself:)

Not sure if I’ll have the chance to ride, but I’ll try and stop past the water tower and say hi. (have to move furniture this afternoon, so I’m not sure how I’ll feel tomorrow)

I was great to meet you, Vince and Dave. You missed my broke spoke and foul language!
Damn it was hot today.

Yeah, it was hot out today. I went out to Eddies and back to get a few things after saying hi and I was burning up by the time I got home. Bummed out that I didn’t get a long ride in today, but we’ll catch up later. Where did you end up going?

We rode to Penn Station and had coffee at the new Dunkin Donuts. Then we rode up Charles to 33rd and were on our way to ride around Herring Run Park when I blew a spoke around Lake Montebello. (DOH!) Luckily, Dan’s dad was AWESOME and toted us back home in his cool truck. We hit the shop later that day, but I’ve been too lazy to put the new spoke on yet.
I gotta get some extras to carry.

That sucks breaking down joy ride.
It was good to meet you guys. Next time I may actually join you for longer than the 2 blocks to superfresh.
