We rode down to the pier in Fell's Point, chilled for a few minutes. I'm ashamed to say that we only toasted Papa with water in our bike bottles, though, with the heat. Next time, beer! I was thinking it might be fun to do something for Poe's birthday, too, to involve a nice warmer-upper (January!). I don' t know if Poe has any poems as cool as the one we used for the Hemingway toast. Nothing that short anyway. :) Very relaxing.
