I am the other member of nbbb that is mentioned in the post below about being out of commission. Well after waiting for what seemed like an eternity my new bottom bracket finally arrived. The installation took about 20 minutes from start to finish. That’s pretty much it. I’m sooo happy to be back out on two wheels again I just need to post about it. Ride safe.

Always nice to have more than one bike in your barn esp. for breakdowns.
FWIW mine:
1. grocery getter/beater
2. speedy road thing for keeping up with the jocks during club rides
3. long and easy touring bike for all day comfort
glad to know you’ve got rubber to the pavement again.

Thanks bob. It is great to be back out again. I am actually working on an older model Western Flyer road bike that is going to be my back up. It will be nice ,once I have it on the road, just to know I’ve got it in case something happens to my main ride.
